About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development of the pharmacy workforce in South Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare in our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive pharmacy workforce strategy for South Yorkshire, aligned with the Integrated Care System (ICS) priorities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the health and social care system to identify and address workforce gaps and challenges.
  • Lead the development of training and education programs to support the growth and development of the pharmacy workforce.
  • Collaborate with local schools and colleges to develop apprenticeships and similar training opportunities.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and stakeholders on workforce planning and development.
Requirements
  • Significant experience of working in complex systems and leading workforce transformation initiatives.
  • Expert knowledge of health and social care workforce planning, education, and training.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the health and social care system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead others.
