Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated teaching assistant to join our team in secondary schools across Boston and the surrounding areas. This is a full-time position available on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to work flexible hours.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience working with children or within a care background, along with a teaching assistant qualification. A DBS check through Aspire People or being on the update service is also required.

Key responsibilities include supporting students in KS3/KS4, developing relationships quickly, and working in small groups. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant experience of working with children or within a care background
  • Teaching Assistant qualification (planning / currently completing this)
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check through Aspire People or be on the update service
  • Minimum of 2 satisfactory and recent references
  • Right to work in the UK is required
