A leading Law Firm in London is seeking an experienced Graduate Recruitment and Business Services Recruiter to oversee the entire spectrum of Trainee Recruitment and Training Contract programs, collaborating closely with the Senior Recruitment Manager and HR Manager.

Job Description
  • Manage all aspects of Trainee Recruitment and Training Contract programs from onboarding to qualification, including:

Advise on trainee recruitment marketing strategy, managing marketing literature and maintaining careers website. Monitor London Trainee Recruitment mailbox and respond to queries/applications as needed. Manage RARE recruitment system. Arrange and participate in trainee interviews for vacation scheme and training contract candidates.

Track all trainee recruitment activity (vacation scheme, training contracts, etc.). Track and process recruitment-related expenditure such as external advertising, candidate travel expenses, and law fair costs. Arrange future trainee bi-annual maintenance payments. Plan and organize bi-annual trainee dinners. Prepare and submit formal Training Contracts. Organize trainee and NQ inductions. Manage SRA/Law Society registration of trainees completing training contracts.

Business Services Recruitment

  • Evaluate and approve recruitment licenses with the New York office.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective recruitment strategies, incorporating direct hiring through social media.
  • Monitor and process recruitment-related expenditure, including external advertising and recruitment fees.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key recruitment agencies for Business Services recruitment, negotiating Ts and Cs as necessary.

To establish an internal framework for the recruitment of Apprentices (where applicable) and schedule work experience programs. Project work as required, e.g., salary benchmarking, identifying market trends. Provide ad hoc support to the Snr Recruitment Manager during periods of absence.
