Human Resources Manager

An experienced HR Advisor is required to join an NHS organisation in the South of England on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Employee Relations and senior stakeholder management, as well as an enthusiastic approach to learning new processes.
This role involves dealing with sensitive issues and a large ER caseload. The successful candidate must have a driving license and access to a car, as there may be requirements for cross-site travel from the headquarters (mileage expenses paid).
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and support managers on investigations, including grievance, disciplinary, and bullying and harassment cases
- Assess options and advise and support managers in the preparation of documentation for disciplinary, grievance, capability, and attendance meetings
- Attend informal and formal meetings/hearings as necessary, and advise on management reports and correspondence in accordance with Trust procedures
- Ensure that appropriate information is captured and maintained in the ER tracker to enable accurate monitoring and reporting
- Take notes at relevant meetings where appropriate and provide advice to managers to ensure the standard of note-taking and record-keeping on all ER matters is high and compliant with GDPR obligations
- Build effective relationships with local trade union/staff side representatives
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in senior stakeholder management and employee relations
- Driving license and access to a car
- CIPD qualified, or working towards
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £23.59 per hour, with mileage expenses paid for cross-site travel. This is a 37.5 hour per week contract, initially for 6 months.
