Pharmacy Manager Job Description

Nuffield Health Oxford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at The Manor Hospital. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance on medicines management to ensure compliance with national and local policies and guidelines.
  • Lead the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality clinical care and advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve medicines safety and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and discharge planning.
  • Monitor and report on medicines usage and stock levels to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Experience of working in a clinical setting as a Pharmacist.
  • Leadership and management experience in a Pharmacy setting.
  • Awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
