About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), you will play a key role in providing psychiatric assessment and management of cases within our Neurodevelopment Service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric assessment and management of cases within the Neurodevelopment Service
  • Contribute to the daytime on-call rota
  • Work collaboratively with other Consultant and junior doctor colleagues
  • Participate in the clinical leadership of the multidisciplinary team
  • Offer consultation to other professionals and agencies
Requirements
  • On the specialist register of the General Medical Council (GMC) for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Registered with the GMC and within 6 months of being accepted for the specialist register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Fellowship/Membership of relevant Royal College of Psychiatry Section 12 approved/equivalent

  • Level 3 child Protection training
  • Liaison experience
  • Experience in Children's Safeguarding
