Consultant Psychiatrist CAMHS – Bromley Adolescent Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adolescent Team, providing specialist mental health services for young people in Bromley. The successful candidate will work with adolescents up to 18 years and their families/carers, addressing significant and acute mental health difficulties.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, with 6 PAs available. The Consultant Psychiatrist will manage a complex caseload, providing assessment and intervention within the multi-disciplinary team. This includes working closely with psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, child psychotherapists, nurses, family therapists, and support staff, as well as partner agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist advice and support to professional colleagues, both internal and external to the Trust.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions, informed by national and local policy, via multi-disciplinary teams and treatment pathways.
  • Contribute to the development of services for young people with crisis and acute presentations, working closely with partner agencies.
  • Manage a complex caseload, providing assessment and intervention within the multi-disciplinary team.
