About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Longdon Park School, part of Options Autism. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school sites, providing a safe and supportive environment for our pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain school facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and risk assessments
  • Coordinate and implement school development projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers
  • Provide support and guidance to staff and pupils on facilities-related matters

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
