We are seeking a skilled and motivated Research Midwife/Nurse to join our Obstetric and Gynaecology Research Team.

The role requires making a direct contribution to the successful conduct of research studies at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This post is funded by the North East & North Cumbria Comprehensive Research Network (NE&NC CRN), which supports high-quality clinical research studies and aims to increase patient participation in NIHR trials.

As a registered midwife/nurse, the post holder will maintain their clinical skills and credibility while upholding professional standards of practice and behaviour, as per NMC guidance.

Main Responsibilities

The post-holder will learn to manage concurrent research studies with support from senior research colleagues. This involves providing effective services to patients participating in clinical research studies, completing procedures according to study protocol, Trust, and local policies, and collecting patient data.

Person Specification: Qualifications and Experience
  • Educated to first degree level in a health-related subject
  • Evidence of continuous personal, professional, and academic development within the current role
  • Registration with an NMC and GCP training
Expected Salary:

£37,338 - £44,962 per annum (pro rata)
