At Career Legal, we are seeking a skilled Legal Recruitment Assistant to support our busy London-based team. This 12-month FTC role offers a unique opportunity to gain direct exposure to partners and senior leaders in a leading global law firm.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support across both lateral and partner recruitment, working closely with the wider team. Key duties include:
- Supporting the Legal Recruitment team and Director of Lateral Partner Recruiting with lawyer talent attraction and hiring administration;
- Assisting the Senior Manager with responding to search firm queries and producing fee terms for international lawyer hiring;
- Ensuring compliance with hiring risk management policies and procedures;
- Entering new hire conflicts information into the New Business Intake database and monitoring clearance;
- Supporting the team with data gathering and reporting on lateral recruitment activity;
- Attending regular catch-up meetings with local and global recruiting teams;
- Providing administrative support for legal recruitment projects and ad-hoc requests.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with previous legal recruitment or HR experience. They must be confident, discreet, and possess excellent communication skills across all levels of the firm. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft and legal recruitment systems is desirable.
