About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager at a male Mental Health hospital in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team, supporting the Ward Manager.
  • Ensure all patients receive high-quality care, while also promoting positive teamwork.
  • Support colleagues and promote a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN).
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • A minimum of 2 years of mental health experience as a senior nurse, in the UK.
  • Strong team-working skills.
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach.
  • A high level of clinical experience and leadership that provides expertise and confidence to the nursing team and ward overall.
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate.
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice.
