About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the team and act as a technical focal point for both internal and external leadership teams. They will be responsible for managing all engineering activities for a large customer project, including design activities, and overseeing technical issues, process, and governance. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interface with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team and act as a technical focal point for both internal and external leadership teams.
  • Manage all engineering activities for a large customer project, including design activities.
  • Oversight into technical issues, process, and governance.
  • Interface with senior stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Accountable for the delivery of key user requirements and cardinal point specifications.
  • Accountable for the delivery of 3rd party accreditation / certification process.
  • Liaison with sub-contracts, Project Managers, and technical managers (internal and external).
  • Contribution and management of business improvement activities.
  • Acting as the senior technical point of contact for the customer.

Requirements

  • Substantial prior related experience working on complex engineering projects.
  • Extensive experience delivering multi-disciplined projects comprising electrical, mechanical, software, and specialist engineering analysis.
  • Strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
