About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Care Coordinator to provide person-centered care and support to our service users in the Extra Care Services in Carlisle. As a key member of our management team, you will assist the Extra Care Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the operational management of the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Extra Care Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of care are provided.
  • Ensure that the care provided empowers clients and meets their needs.
  • Work in conjunction with service users' families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere within the service.
  • Provide support with personal care and domestic tasks, and support individuals to access social opportunities.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with previous experience in services for older people, people with dementia, and memory loss. Your approach will be warm, person-centered, and respectful. You must be flexible, energetic, and reliable, with the ability to work in an empathetic and holistic way.
