Specialty Doctor in Acute Medicine Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Doctor in Acute Medicine to join our team at Triple West Medical. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide day-to-day general medical support to patients on our medical wards, working under the direction of a consultant physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide medical support to patients on the medical wards, working within a clinical team.
  2. Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota to provide support to the medical wards.
  3. Follow developed escalation pathways to transfer patients to other units as needed.
  4. Participate in the ambulatory Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) pathway.
  5. Provide emergency help to walk-in attenders at the request of triage nurses.
  6. Offer advice to clinicians in hospital and primary care.
  7. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students within the trust.
