Healthcare Flow Coordinator

About the Role
">As a Healthcare Flow Coordinator at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a vital role in optimizing patient flow across our Out of Hours Urgent Care service. With your strong leadership skills and experience in managing people and teams, you will ensure seamless care delivery to our patients.
">Main Responsibilities
">- ">
- Proactively manage and optimize patient flow across the Westcall Primary Care Centre, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery.">
- Assess patients on arrival and prioritize them according to clinical need, working closely with healthcare assistants and nurses to provide exceptional care.">
- Liaise effectively with inter-professional teams, including acute colleagues and primary care colleagues, to ensure collaborative care delivery.">
- Maintain oversight of patients with long wait times, ensuring regular updates and safe monitoring in the waiting room.">
- Line manage band 5 nurses and band 2/3 healthcare assistants, providing regular supervision, sickness monitoring, performance management, and roster adjustments as needed.">
Requirements
">We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse or Paramedic with a minimum of 3-4 years post-registration experience. You should have evidence of continuing professional development, shift management, and experience of managing people and teams. Excellent communication and time management skills are essential, along with advanced IT skills and knowledge of relevant national policies and guidelines.
