About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and vigilant Security Colleague to join our team at Asda Stores Ltd. As a Security Colleague, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding our colleagues and customers, ensuring their safety and security while shopping with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols and checks of the store premises to identify and report any potential security risks or issues.
  • Support the management team in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to respond to security incidents or conflicts, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.
  • Carry out daily checks on fire doors, clear any obstructions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with random spot checks, acting as a witness and recording details as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be naturally friendly and willing to work with your team to deliver great results. You'll have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A basic level of safeguarding check and a commitment to customer service are also essential.
