Support Worker in Early Years Education

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Highland Council. As an effective member of the childcare team, you will support the Head Teacher in delivering stimulating activities that meet the needs of both children and their families.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, and demonstrate a passion for working with children and their families.
This is a fixed-term position until 03 July 2025, with the possibility of extension or permanency. The successful applicant will be based at Hilton Primary School in Inverness and will work 30 hours per week.
Salary: £17,664 - £18,149 per annum.
Requirements:
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Accredited training in early years services
- Agreement to undertake additional training as required
