Job Overview

The Cambridge Community Foundation is seeking a Philanthropic Support Specialist to support our philanthropic efforts and donor services. This full-time position plays a key role in managing and streamlining development operations, including donation intake and acknowledgment, fund holder and donor services, data management, and system processes.

Main Duties:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of key development initiatives, including annual appeals, events, and targeted fundraising campaigns.
  • Contribute to ongoing data upkeep projects by ensuring accuracy and consistency across development databases.
  • Provide comprehensive support to fund partners engaged in fundraising activities, such as support with grant applications, online donation page creation, and other support as needed.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • A deep-rooted personal commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive work environment and fostering a positive workplace culture of collaboration and respect.
  • 2-5 years of prior, relevant work experience, preferably in a nonprofit or foundation setting.
  • Detail oriented, strong organization, time-management, and project management skills.
  • Curiosity and interest in learning about the unique positioning of a community foundation.
  • Strong technology skills and comfort with digital platforms. Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office 365 tools, Zoom and other office tools; prior experience working with a CRM is a plus.

Compensation:

This is a full-time, salaried position with an estimated annual salary range of $55,000 - $60,000 commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes 3 weeks paid vacation, 40 hours of sick time each fiscal year (prorated), 13 paid holidays, subsidized Health and Dental insurance, Vision/Life/Disability insurance, and a 403(b) plan.
