A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Senior Administrator to join the Admin Team Lead in our Learning Disability Service Team in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working 15 hours per week and requires flexibility in terms of working patterns. The ideal candidate will have strong administration skills, experience in digital audio typing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Covering for other team members during absences or breaks, including reception duties that may involve client face-to-face and telephone contact.
  • Participating in appraisals of admin team members according to the Trust's Appraisal Policy.
  • Coordinating and prioritizing administrative tasks to meet service needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date ASSET information.
  • Attending morning Huddle meetings.
  • Inputting complex clinical information into computers with accuracy and efficiency despite interruptions.
  • Observing confidentiality protocols for patient data.
  • Providing day-to-day supervision of administrative staff, delegating tasks as necessary, ensuring required standards are met, and providing guidance when needed.
  • E nsuring statutory and mandatory training is kept current for self and team members.
  • Adhering to Trust Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • BTEC Diploma/Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent, or relevant work experience plus a willingness to work towards Level 5 in Leadership and Management within an agreed timeframe.
  • Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy at Level 2 or O Level (Grade C and above) / New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9).
What We Offer
