Trainee Group Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated Trainee Group Accountant to join Michael Page (UK) in the Life Science industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports to ensure smooth submission.
  • Support internal and external audits to maintain compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes to drive business growth and development.
  • Maintain and develop financial procedures and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of financial systems to support business operations.
  • Support Accounts Payable and Receivable functions to ensure seamless financial transactions.
  • Handle financial queries and issues in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Possess a degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Have an understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills.
  • Show proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and development.
