Job Description


The Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in extracting and analysing complex data to deliver insightful reporting to business and finance stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:



  • Reporting: Provide effective, timely management information, including assisting the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis with the on-time delivery of the monthly board pack.
  • Data Analysis: Lead on the preparation and improvement of the monthly reports for the shareholder, to include future-focused, value-adding, and action-oriented insight and commentary.
  • New Analysis Requests: Respond to new financial analysis requests from senior management and shareholders, and drive continual improvement in data analysis.
  • Financial Reporting Tools: Develop financial reporting using Power BI and IBM Planning Analytics TM1.

The successful candidate will have experience in monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting, as well as experience with multi-dimensional reporting and planning tools such as IBM Planning Analytics TM1.


Key competencies include CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualifications, ability to investigate at a granular level to ensure understanding of the drivers of the business, and excellent analytical skills.



Requirements



  • Experience: Proven experience in financial data analysis and reporting, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skillset: Strong analytical skills, experience with Power BI and IBM Planning Analytics TM1, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
