About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Sweco. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on health and safety best practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics to senior management.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • Technical grade (or above) membership of IOSH.
  • CSCS Safety Professional card.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passionate about safety and committed to creating a culture of safety within the organization.
