Residential Care Manager Position

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + performance-related bonuses
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Children's Home Manager to join our team in Stratford-upon-Avon. As a Registered Children's Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality care and support for each child in our residential home.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the children's residential home, ensuring that each child receives the best possible care and support.
- Develop and implement high-quality care plans for each young person, assigning Key Workers to implement these plans.
- Uphold high care standards in line with National Minimum Standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance measures, seeking feedback from young people and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure the welfare and well-being of each child.
- Recruit, induct, and supervise staff, providing development plans and fostering open communication.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum, plus performance-related bonuses.
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.

Your Requirements:
- Strong management and communication skills, with experience in supervisory/senior positions in residential care.
- Understanding of BESD children and managing challenging behavior.
- Commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children.
- Effective planning, organizing, and resource allocation skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children in the past 5 years, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/senior position in residential care.
- NVQ 4 in Caring for Children & Young People (or equivalent) or working towards.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in children's residential care.
