Job Purpose:

To contribute to a high-quality service by conducting thorough assessments, setting realistic goals, implementing tailored treatment plans, and evaluating clients with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Participate actively in the service's training strategy, including in-service training, Trust, and multi-agency training. Ensure a safe discharge from the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop treatment plans for a defined clinical caseload.
  • Work under the supervision of a senior physiotherapist, adhering to physical demands of the role, including manual handling applications.
  • Travel city-wide for visits and meetings.
  • Participate in rehabilitation treatment programs and train other staff members.
  • Set physiotherapy goals, conduct treatment interventions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Engage in Continuing Professional Development, staying up-to-date with new trends and developments, and incorporating them into work as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of good practice for infection control within Nottingham CityCare Partnership, adhering to organization policies and procedures.
  • Assist with audit projects, demonstrating evidence-based practice and outcome measures.
  • Maintain a safe environment for staff and clients, adhering to Health and Safety legislation and organization policies.
  • Participate in data collection and statistics, maintaining clear and concise records.
