About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Management Manager to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of property managers and ensuring the smooth operation of our residential lettings business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of property managers to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Lead daily meetings with the property management team to discuss ongoing tasks and challenges
  • Coach and develop team members to improve their performance and career prospects
  • Monitor and assess individual team member performance, including conducting regular one-to-one meetings
  • Ensure the business is risk-averse and compliant with all regulatory bodies
  • Conduct property inspections, negotiate tenancy extensions and renewals, and coordinate with contractors to manage maintenance and repair issues
  • Process deposit returns, resolve rental arrears, and process eviction requests
  • Ensure all properties meet regulatory health and safety standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Manage complaints and complete check-in and check-out procedures, including full inventory reports

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license for a manual vehicle
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a property manager within residential lettings
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive team spirit and enjoyable working environment
  • Basic IT skills

What We Offer

  • Basic salary range of £32,500 to £43,000 per year, dependent on experience
  • Up to £7,200 in capped commission (in addition to basic salary)
  • Uncapped commission target of £3,725 (in addition to basic salary)
  • Minimum on-target earnings of £43,425+ per year
  • Company car or monthly car allowance*
  • Fixed working hours (08:30-18:00 weekdays, 09:00-17:00 one in every four Saturdays, with a day back in lieu)
