About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Somerset System Coordination Centre. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Somerset System Coordination Centre team, including coordination of data collections and assurance returns, processing of communications cascade, and arranging meetings.
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries regarding the Somerset System Coordination Centre.
  • Maintain and review SCC processes and documentation, and provide support in the writing and finalising of papers, briefs, and communication pieces.
  • Coordinate speakers, distribute agendas, papers, and minutes for meetings as appropriate, and book venues, catering, and equipment for events.
  • Provide administrative support to the team as required, including taking minutes or notes of meetings.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working within administration, preferably in a healthcare or public sector environment.
  • Experience of complex diary management, management and facilitation of large-scale complex meetings, and undertaking complex minute taking/secretariat for formal meetings.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management, and information analysis, and ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload with minimal supervision.
  • Good understanding of the demands of a busy NHS senior management team, and ability to handle confidential information without compromising confidentiality or trust.
