Job Title: Head Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our client's team at Old Tom's in Hemel Hempstead. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team and overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Job Summary

  • Lead a team of chefs in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase the restaurant's commitment to quality and creativity
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations
  • Collaborate with the restaurant's management team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen management role
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve high-quality results
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
