Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Cygnet Hexham Hospital. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our service users.

Main Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
  • Carrying out daily and weekly cleaning regimes
  • Maintaining and replenishing stock and ensuring equipment is clean and well-maintained
  • Employing safe working practices and adhering to health and safety procedures
  • Complying with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in cleaning, housekeeping or domestic work (desirable)
  • Knowledge of COSHH (desirable)
  • A friendly, conscientious and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills

DBS Check

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
