Job Title: Corporate Associate

Walsh Employment is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Associate to join our London office. As a key member of our corporate team, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate matters.

About the Role:

As a Corporate Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting due diligence and legal research to support M&A transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating definitive transaction agreements, including share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, and related documentation
  • Managing all aspects of strategic transactions, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Providing strategic advice and guidance to clients throughout the transaction process
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and regulatory specialists, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients
  • Mentoring and training junior associates, actively contributing to the growth and development of the corporate practice
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, demonstrating excellent client management skills
  • Staying abreast of market trends and best practices in the technology and venture capital sectors, leveraging insights to deliver value-added services to clients
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional technical proficiency and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial acumen and a solutions-oriented mindset, with knowledge of market practices in the technology and venture capital sectors being advantageous
  • Familiarity with cross-border M&A transactions and associated legal issues is preferred but not mandatory
