Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Site Manager with a mechanical background to oversee our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and managing daily site operations to ensure all activities align with project timelines and goals.
  • Coordinating and supervising mechanical installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards.
  • Leading and managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to uphold safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance with regulations.
  • Liaising with clients, project managers, and stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing any challenges.
  • Managing resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation of all site activities, including reports, permits, and inspections.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any technical or logistical issues that arise during project execution.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally in projects involving mechanical systems.
  • A strong mechanical engineering background (qualifications or equivalent experience).
  • A comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, installations, and related processes.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
