Site Lead Physiologist Role Overview

Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Lead Physiologist to join their team. As a key member of the physiology department, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the health assessment service, ensuring seamless delivery of clinical care and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the onsite physiologist team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality clinical care.
  • Ensure timely delivery of results to customers, maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to legal requirements.
  • Take a lead role in managing clinical information, ensuring efficient and safe delivery of clinical services based on Nuffield Health & Wellbeing Models & Care Pathway.
  • Be responsible for the operational management of the health assessment service, ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.
  • Participate in hospital-led programs, such as cancer rehab and covid recovery programs.

Requirements:

  • 1st, 2:1 or 2:2 in a health-related science degree.
  • Level 7 Diploma in Health and Wellbeing Physiology.
  • Nuffield Health single ECG accreditation sign-off.
  • Operational management experience within a healthcare setting.
  • Good experience/understanding of private sector healthcare.
  • Significant experience in delivery of health assessments.
  • Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team.
