Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management team as a Healthcare Scientist Associate. The successful candidate will assist and support cardiac physiologists, clinical scientists, specialist nurses, and advanced nurse practitioners in delivering effective and quality care to cardiac patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing the lab and clinics, performing 12-lead ECGs, and maintaining stock control.
  • Support the multidisciplinary team in delivering quality care to cardiac patients.
  • Meet and greet patients, and escort them between clinical environments.
  • Take responsibility for the organisation, storage, and maintenance of equipment for the Unit.
  • Order stock items as requested by the service lead.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the role of a cardiac physiology clinical support worker or cardiographer.
  • SCST Diploma in ECG interpretation, Basic or Hospital Life Support qualification, and phlebotomy skills.
  • Mature, caring attitude, and calm and confident approach to work.
  • Good communication, organisation, and customer care skills.

Working Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering quality care to cardiac patients. The role will involve working in a variety of settings, including clinics and laboratories.
