Applied and Regulated Development Scientist

Oxford Nanopore Technologies is a leading company in the field of sequencing technologies, with a presence in multiple global locations. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Applied and Regulated Development Scientist to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in physical, chemical or biological sciences and experience in a development team. They will be responsible for the development, optimisation and verification of products for clinical applications, with a focus on the infection space.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and optimising preparation workflows
- Designing and developing biochemical and biophysical assays
- Testing and optimising new components prior to release
- Operating our Nanopore range of sequencing devices and associated software
- Data analysis, from basic data manipulation to complex bioinformatic pipelines
