The University of Bristol is seeking a part-time Counsellor to provide support to students. The role involves offering one-to-one and group therapy sessions, primarily using the One at a Time (OAAT) model. The Counsellor will work with students presenting a range of issues, with 80% of sessions being OAAT and 20% being 6-session blocks. The role also includes facilitating therapeutic groups and providing individual and group supervision. The Counsellor will be expected to work within the OAAT model and use a range of therapeutic modalities. The University offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and training. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role is for a permanent contract, with a working pattern of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The Counsellor will be based on the University campus and will work with students in person.
