About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing and Communications Lead to join our team at Ways to Wellness. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our marketing and communications strategy to position us as a leading player in innovative non-medical service development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to support our strategic objectives.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the media, partners, and suppliers.
  • Lead on the development and delivery of tailored communications and marketing plans for our pilots and prototypes.
  • Write, edit, and proof-read engaging communications materials, ensuring compliance with our branding and key messages.
  • Develop and apply the Ways to Wellness brand, including key messages and style guide, to ensure consistency.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of all digital communications, including social media and website, to ensure it remains engaging and appropriate for our audiences.
  • Support the Chief Executive, Board members, and other staff to prepare for attendance at national and local conferences.
  • Represent Ways to Wellness at external events, as agreed with the Chief Executive.
Requirements
  • Significant experience of operating at a senior level in communications, marketing, public relations, and journalism.
  • Experience of managing and working with a wide range of stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Experienced manager, able to support, guide, and develop team members.
  • Evidence of successfully managing complex projects on time and to budget.
  • Experience of writing copy, editing, and proof-reading for a range of audiences.
  • Experience of producing reports, promotional material, social media graphics, and other marketing products using industry-standard software and programs.
  • Experience of using coordinated social and other digital media as primary tools for marketing and communications.
  • Experience of using analytics and other monitoring techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of on- and off-line communications and marketing.
  • Understanding of equality and diversity, including knowledge of creating accessible content for a diverse range of audiences.
  • Be up to date with current marketing and communications best practice.
  • Experience of working with external consultants to deliver objectives.
  • Good IT/digital skills, including MS Office, CRM systems, email marketing tools, social media platforms, and CMS and website content management experience.
