About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Company Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective governance and company secretarial services to our subsidiary entities and divisional committees. This includes acting as secretary to these entities, building and maintaining relationships with board members and senior management, and ensuring all statutory records and filings are up to date.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a secretary to a board or committee, a background in financial services or asset management, and hold a Chartered Governance Institute qualification. They will also possess exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and personal integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as secretary to a portfolio of subsidiary entities and divisional committees
  • Provide company secretarial and governance services to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Assist with divisional governance projects, such as constitutional document updates and legal entity rationalisation
  • Manage all board/entity-related matters within the role holder's portfolio
  • Conduct horizon scanning research to stay up-to-date with regulatory changes affecting the company
