Installation Engineer Job Description

At J-Tech Systems, we are seeking a skilled Installation Engineer to join our team. As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and luxury residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including containment systems, intruder, CCTV, and access system wiring and 2nd fix installation
  • Work on high-profile sites, managing new installations and system upgrades, detailed project planning and execution, troubleshooting and optimising system performance
  • Execute installation tasks to the highest standards, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in installation engineering, particularly in commercial and luxury residential settings
  • Familiarity with the latest industry standards and cutting-edge technology
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
  • Strong skills in reading schematics and technical drawings
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to punctuality
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Up-to-date Health and Safety training, ECS/CSCS certification
  • An NVQ Apprenticeship or equivalent industry certification
  • FIA or equivalent qualifications
  • The ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
