Job Title: Human Resources Administrator/Senior Administrator

Northern Gas and Power, a leading international energy procurement specialist, is seeking a skilled Human Resources Administrator/Senior Administrator to join their team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company, providing administrative support to the HR function. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining employee records, issuing documentation, logging and monitoring absence, note-taking, data and MI reporting, and addressing employee enquiries in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update HR systems and reports to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the information we hold on record is accurate and aligns with other departments' data.
  • Generate reports and provide HR-related data and metrics as required.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding process, preparing and issuing documentation for the employee's full life cycle.
  • Work closely with the wider People Team, providing support in relation to recruitment, training and development, and colleague engagement.
  • Analyse a wide range of employee data and provide recommendations to management.
  • Support with exit interviews and identify trends/patterns using data collated and prepare monthly reports.
  • Ensure all HR policies are in line with employment law and provide advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Keep updated with employment law changes, HR developments, and best practices.
  • Contribute to and own a range of HR projects and initiatives across the employee life cycle.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role within a People/HR function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with HR databases (People HR).
  • CIPD Level 3 Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Business Administration qualification.
