About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Coordinator to join our team as a Military Training Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our learners, while also ensuring that our resources reflect and value the diversity of their experiences.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within one of the uniformed services, such as the army, navy, or air force, and hold a military or civilian Physical Training qualification. A teaching qualification or experience of teaching or instructing is also desirable. We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 26 days annual leave, length of service annual leave increments, and a healthcare scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for learners
  • Ensure that resources reflect and value the diversity of learner experiences
  • Deliver physical training using the bib system during all sessions
  • Deliver Military Training Days that follow the military skills portfolios scheme of work
  • Listen to the views of learners and parents to improve teaching and learning
