Develop Simulation Software Tools for Countermeasure Techniques

We are looking for an exceptional Simulation Software Developer to join our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS) at MASS Consultants. In this role, you will develop in-house countermeasure simulation software tools, model physical interactions, and collaborate with our software development team.

As a key member of our team, you will design, build, integrate, test, and deploy models, optimising countermeasure parameters for best performance against specific threats. Our rapidly growing team provides career development opportunities within EWOS and across the broader group.

This role requires a strong understanding of Physics/Mathematical principles at degree level, as well as experience with Electro-Optics (EO), Infra-Red (IR), or Radio Frequency (RF) sensors in a defence setting. You will analyse, design, model, and verify countermeasure techniques across real-world scenarios, delivering to customers for operational use.

About the Job

  • Degree in a STEM subject, ideally Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics
  • Experience with programming software (MATLAB/Simulink/Python)
  • Understanding of modelling techniques (stochastic, deterministic, exploratory)
