We are seeking an experienced Countermeasure Expert to join our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS) at MASS Consultants. This exciting role offers the chance to develop in-house countermeasure simulation software tools, model physical interactions, and work with a talented software development team.

As a key member of our team, you will have the autonomy to develop models, add new features to our countermeasure software, and solve customer challenges. Our rapidly growing team provides career development opportunities within EWOS and across the broader group.

This role requires a strong understanding of Physics/Mathematical principles at degree level, as well as experience with Electro-Optics (EO), Infra-Red (IR), or Radio Frequency (RF) sensors in a defence setting. You will analyse, design, model, and verify countermeasure techniques across real-world scenarios, delivering to customers for operational use.

About the Role

  • Degree in a STEM subject, ideally Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics
  • Experience with programming software (MATLAB/Simulink/Python)
  • Understanding of modelling techniques (stochastic, deterministic, exploratory)
