We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our small, friendly team at Square Peg Associates Ltd in Blackburn. The successful candidate will be responsible for high volume invoicing, providing administrative support to the wider finance team, and ensuring accurate data input into our in-house system.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, great communication skills, and a confident and concise telephone manner. They will also have a good attention to detail and strong IT skills.
The role will involve:
- High volume invoicing, both Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Providing administrative support to the wider finance team
- Effectively matching, batching and coding of invoices
- Carrying out bank reconciliations
- Customer and supplier query management
- Accurate reconciliation of the supplier statement reconciliations
- Building positive relationships with suppliers
- Ensuring prompt payment of invoices
