About the Role:

We are seeking a Student Support Officer to join our team in Newport. As a key member of the inclusion team, you will work closely with students and teaching staff to promote positive behaviour and support the Student Support Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students by removing them from mainstream classes and working with them one-on-one in the Student Support Centre
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Show initiative and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Engage in the school's performance management process
  • Work flexibly as needed

Requirements:

  • Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Two professional references covering the past 24 months
