About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert quality assurance advice and support to NHS organisations across the South West region.
  • Conduct independent audits of licensed and unlicensed GxP activities to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the South West Regional Pharmacy Procurement team to ensure quality assurance aspects are integrated into tender specifications and product evaluation.
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs to support the development of quality assurance skills across the region.
  • Coordinate and promote common ways of working across the region, sharing best practices and developing guidance on professional standards and regulations.
