About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert quality assurance advice and support to NHS organisations in the South West region, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Conduct independent audits of licensed and unlicensed GxP activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the South West Regional Pharmacy Procurement team to ensure quality assurance and procurement activities are aligned and effective.
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs to enhance the quality and safety of pharmacy services across the region.
  • Work closely with hospital pharmacy departments to implement best practices and improve quality management systems.
