You'll work closely with Exec members, business leaders, and directors to design structures and roles that drive strategy and success.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop Organisation Design (OD) expertise, considering the Group's needs and market trends to ensure decisions align with wider objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with OD best practices, developing professional blueprints and OD principles to inform your work.
- Partner with leaders to understand organisation requirements, identifying and influencing design improvements to meet strategy and financial targets.
- Advise and challenge leaders with data-led role and structure options, aligned to OD principles and the Tesco Service Model.
- Design roles with differentiated accountabilities and simple, clear ways of working.
- Build trusted relationships with leaders to assess the impact of design on factors like behaviour, skills, and culture.
- Collaborate with functional finance partners to align on total efficiencies and investments required for change.
- Lead evaluation to assess changes' effectiveness and outcomes against success measures.
- Adhere to position governance processes to ensure ongoing integrity of roles and structures.
- Work with managers to maintain accurate position data and provide insights on headcount and structures.
What You'll Need
- Experience developing structures in large organisations with complex hand-offs and interdependencies.
- Experience managing change projects, either internally or as an external consultant.
- Change management experience.
- Strong business acumen.
- Analytical thinking and stakeholder management.
- Experience with OrgVue is highly desirable but not essential.
