Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at PayPoint Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our business partners.

  • Develop and maintain key product driver models to ensure they are up-to-date and fit for purpose.
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights to our business partners.
  • Support the development of business cases and financial plans to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with our business partners to ensure a close attention to developing risks and opportunities.
Planning and Analysis

You will be responsible for owning and maintaining key product driver models, ensuring they are kept up to date and fully utilized. You will also be responsible for keeping a constant view on the latest outturns, key risks and opportunities, and liaising with the business on developing trends and expected impacts.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the key business drivers and of the business strategy.
  • Support the business by leading partners through all stages of the planning processes.
  • Ensure that P&Ls and Standard Analyses are completed, reviewed and understood in a robust and timely manner.
Ad Hoc Support

You will be required to provide ad hoc support to the business as needed, including travel to our Liverpool office and supporting business partner visits.

  • Support shifting business requirements and broader FP&A workload.
  • Develop insightful analysis over and above conventional reporting to add value to the business.
Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a qualified accountant with a recognized qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and three-five years post-qualification experience. You will have a track record in a relevant finance role with comparably high performance demands and drive for success.

  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, especially in the use of spreadsheets and modelling.
  • Experience of presenting data in a clear and precise manner to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent time management skills.
Desirable Skills

We are looking for someone with knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning or similar Financial Planning software, and experience in PayPoint's products and sectors.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central or another computerized accounting system.
  • Experience in developing business cases and financial plans to drive business growth.
