Medical Director

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Hazelwood House, a 12-bedded low secure unit for adults with a primary diagnosis of Learning disability and secondary mental health issues. We are seeking a clinician to work part-time in a small, friendly environment.
As a Responsible Clinician, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals from nursing, clinical psychology, and occupational therapy. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing treatment plans, coordinating discharge, and liaising with Commissioners regarding admission, progress updates, and discharge planning.
We are looking for a good team player who is keen to participate in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation, and management plans. The ideal candidate will possess highly sophisticated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously to agreed short and medium-term objectives.
As a key member of our team, you will be expected to provide evidence of your registration with the GMC, including the relevant Specialist Register. You will also be required to participate in our non-residential medical on-call rota, which is on a second-on-call basis.
