About the Role

As a Disability Support Professional at Leonard Cheshire UK, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team to provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities.

The ideal candidate will be able to assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes. You will also escort and assist individuals in and around the service, as well as attend external events and appointments.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and creative in their approach, able to work under pressure and as part of a team. If you have good interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care and medication
  • Escort and assist individuals in and around the service
  • Attend external events and appointments
  • Work flexibly and creatively to meet individual needs

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Flexibility to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Ideal candidate will have personal care experience
  • Be able to maintain accurate records
