Country Planner Role

We are seeking an organized and capable transport planner to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning UK transport in a specialist sector, ensuring that logistics are efficient and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost-effective planning of all vehicle routes by fully utilizing a range of modalities to the required level of customer service.
  • Maintaining an excellent working knowledge of all legislation relevant to the transport industry and working in accordance with this.
  • Communicating with third-party sub-contractors.
  • Good knowledge of planning systems and processes.
  • Responding to queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a similar role with a global company in a planning logistics network and fleet management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good knowledge of planning systems and processes.
